About 3 years ago I was perusing the boards and stumbled upon POTD. Then later found CE because of them. I stayed because of the tightknit community here. Most people are regulars and it's really fun getting to know everyone. I didn't post until last year though. I lurked for little over two years before posting

I started posting on the couch in 2006 and I kinda hated it there but didn't really know what CE was. Found CE in 2007 and then CEnco De Mayo happened and I thought this was a really cool board

started at one of the smackdown vs raw boards, then moved to PWB and I think it was in 2008/9 that i moved to CE

First social board was on LUE (was no requirements back then, had joined to use the Perfect Dark board when it came out summer 2000) then just slowly started using the other social boards.

I found a place with a seemingly endless supply of people to mock and ridicule for my own enjoyment with no consequences

I came back to Gfaqs after years being away due to ROM in Bloodborne. I beat him too, but came back and to CE cause wanted to bitch about how much I hated him.

I stayed because I posted "this is a lame gimmick bro" in lots of topics and it worked

Started on PotD and then just ended up migrating here somehow.

I just remember CE having funnier topics so that's why I stayed I guess.

Was on another social board on gfaqs and got into this one mainly because I noticed how the last post was always just a few seconds ago.

Also liked reddit and got some posts on there upvoted a lot which was cool but I felt like it was more toxic. Here there's definitely some toxicity, but a lot of people are pretty friendly. Also I'm on the straight and narrow in my life right now and I feel like the atmosphere here is at least somewhat geared to a more mature outlook on life. Even a lot of folks who don't drink.

I honestly dont remember. I think I first started browsing here around 2007 or 2008. I think I probably just went to social boards and picked the most popular looking board.

I used to browse a much smaller social board here but eventually decided to leave it. I was probably just looking for another board and found CE that way.

I really don't remember how I got here. I think I registered so I could discuss Runescape and/or FF7. Zero idea how I found CE, though I think from CE I found out about LUE and registered for that too. Think that account is no longer with us though.

I used to browse the SSBB social board for like a year when I first joined and I dunno how I ended up here, I guess I just found it through the specialty message board list or whatever. Ended up browsing here for a while but took 3 year breaks two times since finding it.

Lurked back in the 00s until an asshole roommate got the usermap banhammer and since we had the same network I ended up banned too. Came back around 2011 or so and was on and off until a year or two ago.

It was like LUE without the insanity.

I stayed at the time, because it was mostly friendly and active with the most random of topics. I don't know why I'm still here though.

Thinking about how I first came to CE made me feel nostalgic so I started looking around at some old abandoned game boards I would post on. Just found a thread that I thought was long deleted from 14 years ago. It's like a relic of the past.
