I watched like the first three or four episodes and lost interest.

From what people I know have said, it's gotten really goofy. The kind of goofy that is okay for action schlock like 24 but not really for a political drama.

I tried to start it but it came off as a family friendly version of Olympus Has Fallen mixed with 24.

I fell off about halfway through season one. It was so annoying how everyone talked like McGruff. Especially the star, Keifer. Maybe playing Snake in MGS 5 messed him up but it's like he can't talk in a normal voice anymore.

This also reminded me of that "no rules hardcore Siberia survival" show that stirred up a ton of controversy... whatever happened to that?

It's a political drama about the state of the union being bombed by terrorists and the designated survivor (who's just some no name guy on the cabinet) taking over as president.

Sounds like a fanfiction of a Tom Clancy story. And kind of interesting maybe idk.

I started watching it when it first came out, but the release schedule was so crappy, I dropped it. Shame, 'cause it seemed moderately interesting and Kiefer's always fun.

It's about to come back. I still like it. One of the reasons it sort of fell out of favor with some is that MAJOR SPOILERS the big bad guy(Lloyd) who the conspiracy was started by was killed off way too soon, and none of the other conspiracies have been nearly as interesting, even when they tangentially lead back to him. So... the show doesn't have the same feel. Fortunately on the Winter Break Finale last year YET ANOTHER MAJOR SPOILER the first lady was killed just after closing up the last conspiracy mystery that the big bad Lloyd left. Hopefully they expand on that.

Italia Ricci is just plain awesome.

The White House Counsel is great, too. I just don't love her hair. It makes her look a lot older than she is. Also, she is fairly stacked, but you never see them in all those suits she wears.

It's p harmless TV. I feel it's ridiculously 'good natured' at times but there's worse background TV.
