Actually this is probably the correct answer. I don't have a problem with making generalized statements about large groups of people (i.e. black people are good at basketball). But when you assume an individual fits the stereotype, that is racist.

I was trying not to be partisan and buy into the sensationalism the news was trying to throw at me, and I figured this ignorant, stupid old man would say a lot of ignorant and stupid things. He's probably like most people, and doesn't even realize it himself. The definition for racism has mutated from its origin, and seemingly means anything from bias to generalizations. Nearly everyone has inherent bias, and most people generalize, maybe even without realizing it.

If my life was put under a microscope, an overly critical person would probably say I'm racist.

I have white offspring in real life. Typically, when I create a character in videogames, my player character is usually white.

To some, this is enough to be racist.

I don't know much about trump, but if the housing discrimination thing is true, then that is blatant, classic racism. That shows that he feels other races are too inferior for housing. Deplorable.

In addition, the general sentiment of "Why would we let in people whose country the Norways and US's of the world exploited?" feels like it's ignoring the causes of these countries being ****holes which Trump seems to think is because of the people who live there.
