President Trump offered a series of confusing tweets about the bill Thursday morning, prompting Democrats to ask for a delay in the House vote. Republican leaders refused.
Trump first took the remarkable step of tweeting his apparent opposition to the surveillance law despite the fact that prior presidents, the intelligence community and even his own administration have fought to maintain the program. Trump suggested that the Obama administration used this law to spy on him and his campaign.

House votes on controversial FISA ACT today. This is the act that may have been used, with the help of the discredited and phony Dossier, to so badly surveil and abuse the Trump Campaign by the previous administration and others?

Later in the day Trump magically changed his tune.....

"todays vote is about foreign surveillance of foreign bad guys on foreign land. We need it! Get smart!"

To be clear, a larger portion of the GOP voted for it. But some people expect better from Democrats.

If people expected Dems to oppose surveillance of this sort then they haven't been paying attention the last few years. At best they will simply look away and at worst they'll be in full favor of it

I mean if they expected it then they have their heads buried in the ground because Obama extended or expanded literally every single Patriot act that Dubya passed after 9/11.
