Like business analyst/data.....all my friends in it didnt know **** and they got hired, but they are white lol. I know sql, vba, and some java.

also if you are non-white you have a non-trivial advantage, companies are always looking to hire someone other than a straight white male in software dev roles

Easiest way is to just find out who makes the actual decisions, & rub elbows with them. Otherwise, there's too much probability you'll wind up in a meaningless bureaucracy that doesn't actually go anywhere.
