So I was big in Diablo, Diablo 2 and got somewhat heavy into 3. I've heard of this PoE but finally installed it and mother of god am I down for getting into this.

Should I do a run through of each class without looking into minmaxing and stuff, just to get a feel? I don't knowwww

Your class just affects your starting position in the skill tree. You don't need to play all the classes unless you just want 1 of each appearance/skin

Quest rewards too unless they've changed that since I played. Not important later on, but when you've got a new account, being able to reliably get a certain gem early can be useful.

not only that--your ascension options are the part of the tree that most fundamentally alter your playstyle

there are 0 spectre summoners that aren't witches who ascended to necromancer, for example

tbh each class and ascension class will prioritize such a different playstyle you won't have many lessons from one to the next

i know literally everything there is to know about witch necromancers

i know literally nothing about ranger pathfinders, except that they're the favored class for the "OP wander" class that you see in videos running around blowing up whole maps with kinetic blast and barrage.

if you want to learn how to be good as a necromancer witch, here's my character. it can do all content in the game.
