A fucking HAIRCUT (this includes facial hair).. Unkempt hair is just nasty no matter what, that shit is dead in 2018. You gotta have defined edges and if you can get your shit faded/tapered. Its like 20 bucks.

And some clothes that actually compliment your body shape. With color schemes that dont look stupid/ugly. I see too many MFs walking around with baggy long ass shirts and for what? You look like youre part of a ceremony..

I'd understand this topic more if TC picked cargo shorts or badly fitted polos or hideous metal t shirts as his preferred hill to die on, but longline Ts is such a weird one. It's still pretty trendy in a lot of circles.

Streetwear circles. For example guys like Drake and Kanye, who wear them all the time and consistently feature high in GQ and other most stylish men lists.

I mean it's not personally something I'd ever wear but I wouldn't discount it as a rule. You'd look the part more wearing something like that to a hip hop club than you would turning up in your best brogues.

Alright but this is entering into the realms of your own opinion (which you're entitled to) and less so the realm of "fashion basics we can all agree on and any person would do well to follow".

Like it or not, that entire look is a big thing now. It's not one or two fools doing something that hasn't been widely accepted, acknowledged and adopted. And that's basically all fashion is once you boil the rest down. A bunch of people all collectively deciding as a culture that something is cool/sexy/great.

I'd say its more be not fat and wear decent clothes to not look bad. a bad haircut can be looked past if the guy is reasonably trim and wearing well fitting clothes.

but I do get my haircut every 2-3 weeks so I don't really practice what I preach.

His advice isn't garbage though. It's generally right. For the most part, if you're totally unkempt and badly dressed it's going to detract from you, unless unkempt and badly dressed is kind of part of your aesthetic, like an indie musician or something (even then, those dishevelled attractive musicians are totally doing it on purpose in a very affected way). But generally sorting out those two basic things usually makes you more attractive. Not rocket science.

It can be hard to stay clean 24/7, my clothes are always on point but I cant always make the time to get a haircut. Luckily at my job we can wear hats

My mustache/beard though I trim myself. As soon as I see those random hairs sprout on the side of my cheek or my mustache starts to cover my lip at all that shit gotta go
