when he buggers off at the end... his equipment doesn't go back into your inventory...

i had to fucking re-do the whole thing because i wanted to keep the gear

i think its gonna be the same as Hawke in DAI.

He will be a better bad, because he's much more conniving than Corypheus. Also, I wonder what effect all the elves disappearing will have on the world. Will it be purely the Daelish that disappear? What about the city elves? I can't imagine elves like Sera bowing to the whims of an ancient Elven God, even though Solas himself said that the Gods were just mortals made powerful through war and celebration.

Now, on we hope that Bioware is allowed to craft a story and a game, without EA throwing their bullshit wrench into the machine.

I just can't bring myself to hate Solas. Yeah, his plan is somewhat less than sane, but at least he's open to being proved wrong about it.

Fuck him for taking all his gear when he leaves, though.

the party AI is dumb as fuck during dragon battles as well...

apart from that... it's like a single player world of warcraft to me..

it's hard to get excited about future dragon age plotlines when they're either going to be pointless like Hawke, go nowhere like Flemeth, or get retcon'd like Leliana

The only thing of Leliana's that gets retconned was her being killed if you taint the ashes in the Temple of Sacred Ashes in Origins, and even then, she was apparently revived by use of lyrium in the temple, or something like that. Flemeth's arc was complete, as she was always a secondary character in the grand scheme of things. Hawke's story wasn't pointless, as the DLC for DA2 directly set up events for Inquisition.

Now my traditional existential crisis is setting in, which usually happens after beating a game that I'd invested so much time in.

If you killed Leliana at the temple, the person in Inquisition is actually a lyrium ghost. Leliana is still dead.
