I want Kenobi and now it's luckily confirmed and Ewan McGregor is totally down to do it too (though he said it's all just talks right now).

Probably will come out right before or after the first Rian Johnson trilogy movie after Episode IX.

I don't see the point in it. We're just going to see everything that's been referenced about his past. It's a story that doesn't even need to be told and the movie is only there to make money and cash in on the name.

I feel the same way with Rogue One (I guess I'm one of the few who didn't care for it) and an Obi Wan movie. You know the Obi Wan movie is going to end with him fighting Darth Maul with robot legs cause it's been done before and they know the fanboys would cream their shorts over it.

But a prequel Han movie has absolutely zero room to do anything. He starts ANH with absolutely no lower point to have matured from, and that was the whole point of the character. The film can literally only be "Han Solo got in trouble with space gangsters, the end."

No, I want a movie focused on the bounty hunters, or a first Jedi movie, something that shows and explains the origins, the creation of the first lightsaber and the discovery of the force.

Conceptually, I have no issue with it. Han saving chewie and getting the wookie life debt is a potentially interesting story, as well as after that and his story as a smuggler. It's potential for good world buildings and introducing new characters. But that said, there are a lot of other stories I'd rather see and I'm not sure I'll be okay with anyone playing han besides Ford.

This movie is what coming out in May and we still don't have an official trailer? We aren't hearing much good about it. But I'm apart of the problem, and even if I didn't have movie pass I'd likely see it opening weekend.
