Nurses cant do any of that shit. Yeah, she can start some IVs, push some meds, but nurses cant suture. They certainly cant set bones, decompress a dropped lung, drain intracranial pressure. I mean i get were supposed to suspend disbelief for television and its a superhero show but if youre trying to present real world shit as real world shit at least do it right, fuck. Why change her from being a doctor like she was in the comics if youre going to make her do all this shit as a nurse when nurses cant do any of that? So immersion breaking.
While were at it, if one more show cant research basic CPR before they put it in their content, Im going to lose my mind. Its not that hard to remember 30 compressions to two breaths and most people nowdays have taken classes. Its pretty silly tbh --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

You go in knowing that the superhero will bend reality. The average joes however are supposed to abide by the rules theyve set for society given theyre going for this whole real world vibe. Part of good writing is good research. Literally part of fiction writing 101. I suppose my point here is in the comics shes a doctor which fits her level of knowledge and the procedures she does on the shows, yet theyve chosen her to be a nurse which straight up makes no sense every time she literally does anything. I get it sounds trivial but i guess pick something that is your job, imagine that they put it in a show you watch, but only they repetitively do it wrong.
