I would definitely be able to kill an animal for food should the need arise (like in the wilderness away from civilization.) I would not engage in sport hunting though...I'd kill only if necessary. I realize I may be a little queasy after killing my first animal but I would put those thoughts aside because I'd have the mindset that I need to sustain myself.

No. I eat meat but only because it's readily available in an appetising form. If the only way I could eat meat again was to hunt, kill, butcher and prepare an animal all by myself, then I would never eat meat again.

No, I prefer GMO animals that are pumped with antibiotics and growth hormones, and tortured in factory farms, stewing in their own shit, killed in a slower way than a bullet to the lungs.

There was a discovery channel two part show or something about a group of people surviving in the wilderness. And they killed a deer with handmade (I think) tools. It was really emotional. But I think I could do it if I had to.
