salt?

I'm guessing they had an idea that if salt can be used on roads, maybe it could be used on cars.

One time I put salt my my junk and I regretted it. But I grew from it, and became a better man for it.

When you drive on salted roads, it inevitably ends up on your car. It's why they sell freezing resistant windshield wiper fluid.

What does salt have to do with my windshield washer fluid being frozen?

Genuinely asking.

The sentence about windshield wiper fluid was a non sequitur.

Just take it to one of those self serve car washes and just turn it on for two minutes and blast the salt off.

I do that every couple of weeks during the winter.

You can't clean the salt off your windshield with your windshield wiper fluid if it is frozen.

No, it was relevant to clearing salt from your windshield as the salt reduces visibility as well as the windshield is a part of the car and you can't just use plain water to remove salt when it's freezing out.
