26 y/o Elite American Figure Skater, Ashley Wagner was FURIOUS with the US judges on Friday after she was skipped over to represent the United States in South Korea at the Olympics next month. She was the heavy favourite into making the team after Gracie Gold dropped out. Ashley was seen in tears running out of the rink when the names were called..

She ripped into the judges after finishing 4th behind 19 y/o Bradie Tennell, 24 y/o Mirai Nagasu and 18 y/o Karen Chen.

Top 3 finishers were chosen to represent the US in the Winter Olympics and shley placed 4th and will be 1st choice alternate.

The World Silver Medalist said "I'm Furious" when asked of the results and said "I know when i go and i lay it down, i absolutely left one jump on the table, but for me to put out two programmes that i did at this competition, as solid as i skated and to get those scores, i am furious and i think deservedly so. I am a performer and that second mark is just not there. I am absolutely OK with them being strict on my rotations. That's what i think that US Figure Skating should demand of their judges but it needs to be across the board. I don't necessarily feel like it's been that way at this event, so we'll see how things pan out".

Ashely was controversially named to the 2014 Olympics Team as critics thought she didn't give a good enough performance then to make the team.

Ashley is understandably upset as she felt she delivered what she had to do without any mistakes but the shock of the younger 19 y/o Bradie Tennell will now headline the US next month as she was flawless in her free skate. The US judges may be looking to having younger skaters represent the country as they are banking on fresh faces this time around with Brandie and Karen.

Bradie was not considered a front runner for the women's figure skating team until her debut and shocked everyone with her routine. Mirai and Karen however were locked as favourites into the US team.

Ashley is also known to speak her mind as she was very critical of Donald Trump who said he was "absolutely disgusting" and even criticized Putin when she went to Sochi and called him "an insane madman"
