Too many peeps here not understanding how addiction works.

Its not that we dont want to help him.

Hes just always been abrasive and never wants to accept help. He just wants people to tell him that hes correct in the poor choices he makes on a daily basis.

If he would actually come out and be like hey guys Im sorry for acting out and being abrasive but Im actually here to change and actually made an effort to change, no one would be a dick to him. But he never will.

Thats the issue. He will never change. Hes done this shit multiple times already, each time being like I SWEAR THIS IS THE TIME ILL CHANGE!

Fuck, he already admitted to reneging on that since he made the thread with saying he went on a binge last week.

This time I don't have reservations to start drinking again once my life gets better. I hit rock bottom for once, and I've never felt that way before. I did a lot of terrible things that I can't even talk about on here. So I'm tired of not being in control of my life because no one else I've met has the kind of problem I do when they drink. So I'm over it.

I personally didn't find any part of this funny. I usually don't comment in threads like this, but just saw that tc said he just turned 27 and I turned 27 in December. Plus I've seen some of his posts on other boards as Newport and such.

I couldn't imagine living life like that as I have 3 children, married, have a home of my own, etc. But if this is all true, I certainly do feel bad for tc as I have seen many friends and family members battling alcoholism, and I'm certainly no saint myself, so no judging from me at all.
