Back then I wasn't into video games as much. I was much more into skateboarding, drawing, and Yu-Gi-Oh. I didn't really get into games full-shaft until the end of the gen when I got PoP, a DS in '04, and then in '06 when I got a 360.

The Tony Hawk games are universally celebrated even by non-skaters. SCII is an iconic fighting game and generally recognized as the peak of the series. The 007 games were the Call of Duty of the day. Prince of Persia was a top 5 series that defined the 6th gen. Nintendo's exclusives during the GameCube era were weak as hell. You had Melee but then a bunch of really forgettable stuff.
