I was donating plasma today when I noticed they got a new phlebotomist and she was by far the cutest girl I have ever seen working there. Luckily, she ended up being the one who patched me up at the end. I greeted her and asked her how long she had been working there (because I knew she was new) and told her she looked like she was catching on pretty quick and all that jazz. We talked about her job for like a minute. She seemed very comfortable and relaxed while talking to me and seemed to be enjoying the conversation (nobody else there tried to talk to her). then I asked her if she goes to school around here. She said she doesnt. After that there was a long pause of silence because I couldnt think of anything else to say to her really. I hope she doesnt think that I was judging her or stopped asking about her because I thought she wasnt interesting or something. Thats what Im worried about. Anyway, we eventually made a little more small talk before she finished patching me up and then I went on my way. Idk, I feel like even if I made a bad first impression, ill be seeing her soon still and maybe ill redeem myself.
