I was on the way home from work and exhausted, my GF called me and asked if she can borrow my computer to do some workout videos. I said sure, since I have speakers and a bigger monitor and my computer is in the living room so more room to work out.

However, obviously coming home from work, I wanted to unwind and had some emails/stuff to do. Figured it was no big deal, said she could use it.

She had a 1.5 hour youtube playlist for pilates loaded up. One and a half hours. She did not tell me this, and me even mentioning that I would want to use it soon, that she didn't tell me it was that long, sent her into a tirade and now I'm in the dog house. She's currently working out in our small ass bedroom and slammed the door on me.

It is, maybe even longer is average, but if I had to borrow her computer for two hours and she was on the way home from a long day and probably planning on relaxing for a bit I'd give plenty of heads up. That's just me though. I wasn't thinking about the average length of time on the way home, and the last time we did a workout video together it was just twenty minutes before we stopped and went for a real jog instead. I don't do youtube workouts much

That sucks. Im going to guess that she now thinks you were not listening to what she was saying. In any event, thats part of the reason my wife and I have our own devices. We never have to argue plus we both use them for our jobs. I would have probably just checked my email on my phone had I been in your position. Good luck.

This sounds like an incredibly minor and petty thing to argue over in either direction. I'd just kill an hour and a half with a shower/tv/food/on my phone/etc.

It wasn't an argument.

Came home.

"Hey, what's up? What kind of workouts you running?"
"These videos"

Looked at them, 1.5 hours.

"That's pretty long, I was hoping to use my computer for a few things in a bit since I just got home. Didn't know they'd be that many. Is that cool with you, are you gonna take a break at some point?"

She has pure unbridled anger. She just storms into the bedroom and slams the door. The end.
