If Trump goes through with his North Korea posturing, he will single-handedly end human civilization. China has stated that if NK is the aggressor, they won't support a war, but they will defend NK if the US is the aggressor. This would result in a global nuclear war.

Trump, as a person, is a piece of shit.

That being said: ISIS is all but wiped out, jobless numbers are down, growth is nearly 2% above what analysts thought was likely, the stock market is hitting record numbers, and the vast majority of our news is focused on nonsense Trump posts on twitter. Trump followed up on a 20 year old promise to Israel. His strike on Syria was universally lauded. There was no mass wrangling of mexicans. There was no muslim ban. LBGT rights are basically untouched. The Russia collusion narrative is dead.

ALL the worst predictions failed to come true, many of the best predictions came out better than expected, and while our reputation has taken a hit internationally, people still seem comfortable lining up behind him on N. Korea sanctions, including China.

So yea... he's a shit human, but subtract the bullshit he says on Twitter, and he's been a largely competent president.

It's not a difficult concession at all. In most cases, the 'Republicans' you encounter online are likely trolls, and Russian nationalists who are compensated to post pro-Trump comments on social media platforms.

Bear in mind that Trump's approval rating has consistently remained in the 30s since he took office. Even if his most vocal and genuine supporters took to the Internet to defend his presidency, they can't possibly account for the sheer volume of pro-Trump support you're seeing.

Do you understand how nuclear war works? There is no winner, it's just mutually assured destruction. It's less a war in the traditional sense and more of an apocalypse scenario.

That aspect of it is a trap and you know it. The middle class cuts expire in a few years, in the long run it's a significant tax hike on the lower and middle class. The timing is cleverly set up so they don't take the blame for it from the uninformed masses.
