I went to two this last summer. At all of them I spent all day waiting in line. End going on about 4 rides the entire day. How is this crap supposed to be fun?

King's Island is pretty decent. Fuck anything with Disney in the name.

Yes it sucks on busy ass days but when you get on the roller coasters a lot it's hella thrilling and exciting. It's definitely an experience of a life time.

I just hate riding anything, I went to Kentucky Kingdom in the summer, just had a constant fear that anything I rode was going to fly off its track. I did ride all the coasters but one though and we were going to ride it after lunch but as we were eating we watched it get stuck at the top of the climb, they shut it down for the rest of the day.

If it's a big park (Cedar Point, Kings Island), you gotta chose your times wisely. It's kinda annoying but it's fucking worth it to ride what those places have to offer.

Also, assemble a good group.

Nah, I haven't been since that and Mystic Timbers. Have you tried the latter? I'm very curious- The Beast is incredible.

Incidentally, you see that they're replacing the Mean Streak in Cedar Point?

I have done Mystic Timbers, it wasn't bad, felt fucking fast, but I'm not a huge fan of wooden coasters. The Beast is cool, mostly just because it's so big, it's an experience not just a thrill ride. (Also I'm still salty they got rid of Son of the Beast)

If you go again, you need to do the Banshee, it's like Diamond Back + Vortex, the number of loops, cork screws, etc . . . i can't talk it up enough.

And no, didn't see that, I've only been to Cedar Point once and didn't get to ride of bunch of the stuff I wanted to.

Dope, Banshee looks really fucking cool. I'll need to take a friday and head down to KI some time this summer.

But YOU need to get to Cedar Point if possible! Maverick, Raptor, Millenium, TTD are all so, so great. I haven't tried the new Mantis trains or Valravn yet, but I really want to.

I used to love roller coasters when I was younger, but the older I get, the less I want to ride them. I could still enjoy a day at an amusement park, but I don't know if I'd want to ride the biggest, scariest rides, when I used to love that shit.

last time i went to six flags I went during the week and barely waited in lines. It was great.

Yeah I went to Wild Waves in Seattle a few years ago on a day where it was slightly rainy, so no one was there, and the lines were at most like 5 people long, so the only limit was having to get back to the top slightly cold.
