I am just saying, you know, there are a lot of people who have a stake in health care outside of the people who own isnurance companies. And when I hear like the nurses union talk about how they want UHC I don't see them talking about the pay cuts they are willing to take but of course they wouldnt do that. what providers want is what is selfish, which is to keep getting paid well but for more people to be covered so that they can be insured that they will get paid even better

Remember when those were a thing in red states? Do you?

I remember when Democrats didn't organize for the purpose hijacking them, yes.

Oh boy, the tea party. Remember when counter protesters egged them on? And all those unproven claims of racism and shit against them during demonstrations? Especially in DC.

Protests today make the Tea Party of yesterday look like nothing.

The point is that you're trying to invoke a man made boogie man to from the past to stop conversation about an issue in the present.

what did I deflect and what did I deflect it to?

you brought up how democrats didn't used to 'organize' for town hall rallies
I pointed out that is how the tea party used to do things
you said that 'protests' were worse now -- which is the real deflection since we were talking about townhalls -- so what is your point?

huh? I didn't say anything bad about the tea party

you're the one who has the problem with people organizing to talk to their elected officials, not me
