It's "kind of" a mental disorder, but instead of coming from psychologists and psychiatrists it comes from lawyers and judges:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Querulant

A querulant ...
is a person who obsessively feels wronged, particularly about minor causes of action. In particular the term is used for those who repeatedly petition authorities or pursue legal actions based on manifestly unfounded grounds. These applications include in particular complaints about petty offenses.

I've seen them. It's not funny. There's many examples. It's actually quite common. Like a neighbor who is mad that your dog is barking so she sues you, she sues the cop who came in when she called 911 because he didn't arrest you, she sues the city's police force, she sues the city, she sues the mayor, and even the mayor's aides.

Then, she loses in court, so she sues the judge, the court clerk. She even sues her own lawyer because she's convinced the only reason she lost was because of that lawyer's incompetence.

Every time they lose in court, they appeal. Then, when the appeal court won't hear them, they try to go to the supreme court.

There is just no reasoning with those people. It's like they are so convinced that the world is working against them and that they have to fight against this big conspiracy where everyone is complicit.

When you actually see it in real life, it's fucking scary. They are going to name you in a lawsuit at the drop of a hat and claim millions.

I wonder what makes people turn like this.
