I think it's pretty obvious even in high school which students are fit for college and which aren't. It's not for everyone, and if they aren't ready it's a giant waste of money. I have one friend that is 75k in debt from a really fancy university he went to to become a graphic designer. He didn't finish his degree and is now a truck driver. I dont agree. If we do have kids, Id start a college fund for them and start putting money away.
