When does a year ever go by and nothing bad happens? We get it, your favorite celebrity died, there were some terrorist attacks, some mass shootings, etc. It's the same every year. If these are the factors that make you think a year was bad, when is there ever such a thing as a good year?

It depends. I know for me, personally, bad shit usually happens around the holidays. Thats just how it is. As a result, it kind of negatively skews my view of the entire year, despite this one actually turning out to be quite good, overall.
