The big problem with that film was that they couldn't pick a side and stick with it.

- The hunters are evil, but the worst one of them all has a change of heart.

- Oh, the clone dinosaurs need to be protected, but they're ruthless killing machines and abominations before God and nature.

- The good guys took away the bad guys' guns... resulting in several people getting eaten.

It wouldn't have mattered what side of the issue they were on, nobody watches a film like Jurassic Park for the social commentary, but they really needed to be consistent instead of constantly going back and forth like they did.

If they were eaten early in the movie...they were the bad guys.

I love one, enjoy 2, hate 3 and enjoy World because I view it as a parody of the series.

Also, I can't believe I'm saying this, but the tyrannosaurus got too much screen time. Yeah, it's my favorite dinosaur too, but it just hogged up all of the screen time. The rest of the dinosaurs just received cameos. They could've called the film Tyrannosaurus: Jurassic Park 2.

Yeah I can understand why they wanted to get away from it in 3. That one was so bad though.

That pissed me off too. I'm still pissed about it. I won't be consoled until there's a movie in which a live tyrannosaurus defeats a live spinosaurus and sets things right.

That's just one of that film's offenses though. Barney cameo, breaking up Alan and Ellie, velociraptor hostage negotiations, etc.

It was one of the major parts of the book they adapted though, except for the San Diego part.
