Progressivism 12/31/17 2:54:31 AM #1:	I pretty much quit GameFAQs (except that I never bothered deleting/suciding this account). A few days ago, I turned 23. Back when I was 13 years old, I was on this site every day in 2008. It was such a different world and I was such a different person. I'm sure you probably feel that way too. I never would have imagined life ten years later being like this (a few things worse than expected, a few things much better than expected, countless things I never thought to expect). What's funny is that I don't remember much. Rickrolling was popular. If I recall correctly, the top Rickroll video on youtube had "gamefaqs ce" in one of its tags. Does anyone else remember that? There was also this one guy 'pauliscooler' I think... There were a couple nudity scandals with female users. One was named stupidness_blah and the other was named Emmassacre, who had a brother who was a user here. The church burning by jediknight12345 happened that year too if I recall correctly. There was also this one thread about some guy who dressed as Han Solo at his high school and got himself into some dumb drama. I might be mixing that up with other years though. I played a lot of Halo 3, which is a game a little over ten years old now. Wow. There were a quite a few older users (whose first consoles were ones like the SNES) who liked to complain about how awful younger gamers were (whose first consoles were ones like the PS2/Xbox). It was also the first year I played a Fallout game (Fallout 3), and ten years later I almost never play video games aside from a little Fallout 4 or Hearts of Iron 4 every now and then. My first GameFAQs account was made back when I was eleven (23 now, mods) in 2006. Kids who were born in 2006 are currently registered on this website. Wow. Some of you have been regular users even earlier than that, although I wouldn't really know because I almost never even visit GameFAQs these days.
