so I told him Id take him to bar around where he lives, but I have this gut feeling bars like that dont even exist

Ive been to maybe 15 bars in my lifetime and none of them had strangers interacting with each other at all

They don't work if you aren't social. Clubs are better for meeting women if you aren't a natural extrovert. If he is, and he looks decent and grooms well, it is a wonder he hasn't found a women already.

I dont like flirting, dancing or drinking.

Are clubs really better? Im an introvert myself. Im pretty smart and have a good sense of humor but I'm really not the best looking dude. With music blasting so damn loud in the club, I'd figure looks are what wins the night there. Like the thought of having to yell at a girl just so she can hear me stresses me out.

we went to a bar and it was his first experience ever. We were only there for about 40 minutes, had two beers and just talked. A lot of people there, but no real oppurtunity to introduce him to girls.

I think we went to late or just went to a wrong bar because everyone there was a cholo

Bars are hit or miss for meeting women. It has to have enough people in it so you're forced to be by others but not too many so that it's overly crowded.

What you want is just enough room at the bar for new people that enter to be forced to sit near you or have a spot just big enough to squeeze in to get an order. So you wouldn't want to sit behind the beer taps or somewhere the bartender wouldn't be able to easily see a customer.

From my experience it doesn't really matter if you're good at breaking the ice. Someone that is forced to enter your personal space to buy beer will feel slightly awkward and talk to you to make themselves feel more comfortable. I'm very average looking and women just start getting chatty with me while they are trying to get the bartenders attention. Then they stick around if I get them in a conversation.

Met my wife at a bar. As long as hes the right type of person, and the girl is the right type of person, it can definitely work. Just stay away from the girls that are drinking a lot, unless its just a one nighter he wants.
