I feel like no matter how bad you are, you can still be pretty effective (almost too effective) in this game. Just look at Soldier, for example. Literal aimbot. So many skills let you get kills by just aiming in the general direction of the other team. And, yeah, Mercy can be strong as hell, but if my team is even more awful than me, then it doesn't really matter how well I can keep them alive... I used to main Scout (with Soldier and Medic when needed). I thought I'd love Tracer, but she just doesn't feel as mobile as Scout. She just makes me miss the constant speed and the double jumping. And the shotgun, it just feels better than the pistols. Pharah's lack of rocket jumping = no bueno Mercy is about as fun as Medic though, so that's my go to when everyone else refuse to go healer.
