We dated for like 10 months and she did not mention having a sister once. I met her brother several times and she mentioned him a lot, and she spoke about her family quite often actually. Yet not even once implying she had a sister.
She seems much older, like 7-10 years older so I doubt it was out of jealousy (despite her totally being that kind of person), and even if she were an estranged family member I would have expected to at least know she exists.
