I'm working from like 20+ years of memory here, but I'm pretty sure about this. Edit: Yup Fall 1995. It was an incomplete hack job and was cancelled before airing ten episodes, but it was shown a year before the first airing of DBZ. --- Whatever happened to standards? Hardly anyone knew what Dragon Ball even was before DBZ came to Toonami in 1998.
