People will now be able to freely smoke marijuana in California without being asked about it. Personally, just as long as these people buy these drugs and teens are doing it "because it's kool bruh", that's all I care about. Same with vaping.

I don't see how that's any different from kids getting their hands on alcohol and cigarettes which have been around for centuries. They should do it, it will help them focus while studying.

One of Marijuana's greatest advantages is its distinctive smell. As long as it remains illegal, cops can detain anyone for prolonged amounts of time by claiming they smell marijuana.

The drug being so widespread also gives boundless oppoturnities to arrest minority citizens.

The only reason Marlboro Sativa isn't a thing, right now, is because federal prohibition has effectively made the industry cash-only in the places where it's state-legal.

I watched one of my best friends go through cancer and when he finally decided to smoke weed it made him a completely different person. Maybe not the best words but it basically brought him back to life. And its not like he was even getting like super crazy high or anything. He would just smoke a little a day.

Nothing. All drugs should be legal, regulated, taxed, with there being wider and more affordable rehabilitation centers and other means of getting help for addictions.

Take the money away from the cartels, the gangs, the scumbags who push it onto kids, aka the people who commit legitimate crimes like forced human drug trafficking, murdering, intentionally mixing more dangerous stuff in with the drugs or making them poorly causing people to accidentally overdose, etc. etc. etc. And then use the tax money gained from the legal drug sales to put more money into our healthcare system, rehabilitation programs, and our education system where we actually teach the kids the dangers of drugs. Not some Reefer Madness shit where they act like if you take a hit of a joint one time you're going to go insane or like those dog commercials, etc. Teach people the reality of drugs, what they do to you, how addiction really is, and not demonizing drug users like they're subhuman.
And to go even further into a larger issue, put money into our abysmal mental health system, getting better at identifying and helping the people most susceptible to addiction before they get to that point to begin with. Even in schools having councilors have better training being able to communicate with the teachers v, and work to try to help students showing at risk warning signs not even just for substance abuse but for mental health issues or anything of the sort.

Mass. I could get weed in minutes any day from multiple people while in school or out of school. Alcohol was a pain in the ass. No siblings for me, we had to beg others siblings and they werent always reliable or charged fees.
