Theres another type of liquor / alcohol. Like Smirnoff, Jack Daniels, Zima, etc.

Then of course you got the mixed drinks or cocktails like Pina Coloda, Margarita, Blue Hawaiis, Daiquirs and a whole set of other ones.

Don't worry. It's ok to be honest and just you know .. saying it. Most people aren't honest when it comes to admitting the truth when asked about what they think of the taste of a particular alcoholic beverage. Most people will just kinda of roll with it because they feel that if they say "No. It taste bad. I'm not drinking anymore" they will be disliked or something. Or that they will be seen like weird or something.

If you are talking about like the cheap beer like Bud Light , Bud wesier, etc. Those beers are cheap and yes they do taste bad. Everyone knows the taste. Everyone knows they taste bitter with no tasteful sweet flavor. Everyone will either roll with it or just admit they don't like it. The other ones are addicts or something (They drank at very early age) (that's the reason why they are addicts and they like it)

Most people that i know. THEY ROLL with it but at the same time they have gotten used to the flavor but they will admit to several brands being crappy and just awfully tasteful.

My suggestion is either well stop drinking whatever it was you were drinking and get something more tasteful or roll with it and hope to get used to it and try to experiment. Get some lemon. Some salt. Maybe mix it. Many recpies can be found in the interent that can improve the taste and cover that taste you dislike

(oh and don't listen to those that say sweet drinks are for women only) I drink them. My friends drink them. Almost every club i've been too i see people drinking some cocktail or something mixed.

And yes. I used to be like that around when i was 19 - 20 I was like man bud light and some other brands taste like urine mixed with carbon. I just coudn't drink it. Tried Heineken. Same thing. Tried bluemoon and a load of others i didn't know of. Same thing. My only option was to roll with it.

I kinda of got started to get used to some by 22. Now at 25 i'm like i still know some taste like crap. But even still the ones i got used to i still cover up the taste every now and then. (i don't really drink that much by the way) speacial occasion here and there. When i was at Uni i was doing it a bit more often but not that much compared to my friends. Some of those were beer junkies. lol

I'm 25. I'm probably more experienced this sort of stuff kid.

That's what it is. Roll with it. EVERYONE DOES IT. Unless you were someone that grew up drinking at such a young age. Then you are probably an addict or something.

I've never cared for the taste of most alcoholic beverages, but I did grow to tolerate them. The only thing I would drink just for the taste is something like Mike's Hard Lemonade (light on alcohol so it tastes like juice). Strangely, I had a Four Loko for the first time on Christmas and I kinda liked it (everyone else hated it, though).

Personally prefer weed over alcohol any day.

- Everything becomes interesting/funny/adds a new level of depth
- You will sleep like an angel on a cloud
- Food is the most beautiful thing on the face of the planet
- If smoked from a bong, the damage done to your lungs are nothing compared to the stress that drinking does to your liver; edibles are even better
- Cannabis actually has health benefits (fights cancer supposedly) and is only banned/illegal because the Gross Old Perverts want to profit off of their pharmaceuticals... Not personally democrat or republican, but this is one issue I side with the libs
- Chill level goes up 1,000%

I get it if drugs aren't your thing. I'll only get offended if someone comes out swinging claims that alcohol is better for you. What a load of crap that is.

I've gained a better appreciation of alcohol/cocktails and their history/development recently, but I still have little interest in actually drinking. Any such interest would be just on an educational level, just to experience it firsthand.

I didn't really start drinking until I was 38. I'm still not much of a drinker at 40, but I enjoy the art of mixing drinks.
