PRESENTED BY CURRENT EVENTS! As the first topic in this idea I've had for awhile, here is the basic groundwork. INTRODUCTION I looked at the Top 24 episodes of Simpsons ever, as based on user star ratings on IMDB. The list is from 2015, but I doubt anything in 2015 and beyond would belong on this list. This list has a nice little two sentence explanation of the episode if you do not have episode names memorized. In each topic I will also explain each episode that we are voting on. THE LIST - http://www.imdb.com/list/ls076621282/ Using Challong, I've created a tournament involving the Top 24 episodes of all time! THE BRACKET - http://challonge.com/1pqf62l9 The 1-8 seeds have a bye in the first round, since that seems appropriate. Every day (or maybe twice a day depending on how 1-sided a vote gets) we will put up a new poll and see which episode out of the two is considered better. Winner moves on, loser is dropped. There will be a third place vote as well. Let's get to it! THE COMBATANTS! *KING SIZE HOMER* - Determined to avoid a work exercise program, Homer intentionally gains weight in order to qualify for disability and work from home. Deep Space Homer is an absolute classic, filled with amazing quotes and sequences.
