Couple of years ago I was in a law firm

Some programmer came in because he wanted to sue a company that ripped off his program.

Apparently, they copied his algorithms.

So the lawyer drafted the documents for the lawsuit, and in the declaration he accused the company of copying the guy's logarithms.

Smh.

Don't know how the thing ended up because I left the firm shortly after.

I wonder if the case can get thrown out of court because the other side can simply say that they didn't copy any logarithms.

There are some fun Lawyer stories.

I like the one where they got a copyright attornery to be a public defense attornery for someone's unpaid parking tickets because the court got the names confused when they sent papers out (Both L. French)
