Current Events > I got a Roku Insignia 4k TV, but it won't work

I plugged it in and it turned on when I did. Didn't have to hit the power button on the remote. It boots up and takes me to the first menu selection I have to make, which Language, but the remote doesn't work. Tried three sets of batteries, including the ones it came wit, but none of the buttons work. And since there is no buttons on the side of the TV, I can't tell if it's the TV or the remote, but I'll assume it's the remote

Sucks since I don't drive and I'm the one that will have to take it back to Best Buy

And I continue to get fucked because the wireless keyboard and mouse I got didn't come with the fucking USB thing to connect it to my computer. There is a slot in the cardboard that says where it should be, but it's empty. I even looked in the battery slot on the mouse and keyboard and it's not there either

Nothing that I can think of off the top of my head. I have a Roku...3 I think, sometimes it happens where the remote doesn't work. Battery switch would do it most of the time, but if that's not working I would try just shut it off and turn it back on. Maybe just check around online to see if other people are having the same problem and how to fix it. They're decent little things. I use mine for my comcast box now since that died and they've got a beta program on it.

Navigating that Comcast Roku app is so annoying. It's fine once you actually get a program on, but the slow guide and crappy search engine is just about the worst one they've ever implemented.

Some TVs still have channel buttons and an enter button on the TV itself. You could try them if it has any.

So my TV doesn't work, my new keyboard doesn't work and now I can't get my new phone to work because I had to get a new iTunes password and it saying it could take up to 24 hours to get it to send it to my current phone

15 hours now, it was 24



So yeah, 9 hours of waiting for them to let me change my password for my iTunes stuff and I'm still waiting. And I know they'll send it to my phone because they sent another thing to my phone earlier, the Apple ID Verification Code

What a shit Christmas, lol

At least I got my weights and my ab roller thing to play with

I should have updated about that. It's 100% the remote that isn't working. I did the camera thing and no purple lights came out from the tip of it like all my other remotes that I know for sure work.

No idea what to do though because I don't think they just have a remote at Best Buy so I might still have to take my TV down there. I tried calling and was on hold for 30mins before I had to run out to do a few things.
