Sometimes I forget that deep down, women want to be good enough for men, too. All movies show these days is Women are hard to get. Men, start being good enough.

Hallmark movies are shitty as hell, but damn if theyre not a breath of fresh air in this regard and they temporarily boost my confidence.

Hey I know this shit.

I'm a nurse working in an American long term care facility for the holidays. Almost every fucking TV in the senior wards is either on sports or Hallmark Channel. The old women especially eat that stuff up. One of my coworkers dared to burst the bubble of two little old ladies obsessed with the sickening sweet whitewashed romantic xmas flicks by pointing out the several reasons the movies are laughably unrealistic.

One of the old ladies broke down and nearly attempted suicide until the aide swore she would take back what she said about "Love You Like Christmas "...

I find Hallmark hilarious because I used to watch Frasier episodes on there. They legitimately censored the word "butt" once.

I love ironically watching Hallmark movies, especially once they start their 24/7 Christmas movie schedule starting in fucking October. They're so fucking stupid lol.

The sad thing is the actors they get are actually usually pretty decent at what they do, but it's water within the confines of the formulaic white bread machine that is Hallmark Channel.

I can't remember a Hallmark movie ever having a male lead who wasn't either A) rich; B) a rugged cowboy / outdoorsman; or C) all of the above. And my wife watches at least two dozen of these per year, so it's not as if my sample size is lacking.
