I've been saying it for a week and i'll say it again, bah-humbug.

Christmas is the time of the year where the suicide rate is HIGHEST. Where lonely deluded people pretend to feel comfort and joy and then crash 2 weeks later because all they're left with is credit card debt. Christmas is just a silly holiday, kept alive to bolster the national economic index and to relieve a little guilt

With Christmas being so commercialized, I can understand your point of view but that doesn't mean I condone it. Many people don't get the message that, over 2000 years ago, mankind was given a special 'gift' in the birth of Jesus, the son of God. That gift brought hope, joy and rest to the destitute, the lost, the lonely and those who are considered outcasts for one reason or another; in fact to all of mankind. For one day the world is a bit brighter; a glimmer of light shines in the darkness and the darkness doesn't overcome it.

was feeling pretty good earlier in the day, but now feeling this way. I can sort of "read" emotions, and could tell my b-I-l wasn't in the best of moods for who knows what reason

since it comes and goes, I always think of how different and better off people and things would be if I wasn't around (going through this now)

but I hope you find something that makes you a bit pleasant
