They were, but with the terms most civilized counties have agreed to is that certain places such as schools and hospitals are supposed to be blacklisted from drone strikes and such.

In my opinion the bombing of that hospital was an abhorrent war crime and those involved with it deserve changes unless they were able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that bombing it right then was a necessity for the greater good or something.

I'd say it's because Obama was a wizard at optics. All those comedy skits made him a media darling.

When you look at what his administration accomplished fairly objectively you have to conclude that he failed at almost all of his campaign objectives but succeeded at doing some pretty heinous things, but it doesn't matter...he was funny on Jimmy Kimmel.

If Trump is good at distracting from the issues with theatrics, Obama was good at brushing them smoothly under the carpet.

Perhaps if you only watched Fox News. Most other stations covered it once then quickly moved on to other things.

That hospital was harboring and treating terrorists that were also engaging Afghan and American forces at the time. While I'm sure they knew it was a hospital, civilians evacuated that area and anyone left was labeled an enemy combatent just for being there. The rules of engagement were also completely lifted while they attempted to retake the district.

It's just a straight up fact.
Any military power knows it's ideal to attack "strategic locations" like:
-factories
-military bases
-vehicle encampments
^sometimes civilian buildings and what not happen to be around those areas, and as a result they become a casualty of strategic warfare.
