Every day from the fourth Friday in November, until the 25th of December. After that, there is a period of 6 days which do not exist, until people celebrate a period of 365 rotations of Earth with the incrementation of a year number.

It's always been December 25th in America and everywhere that the holiday was introduced.

Except for those who celebrate it on January 7th

Christmas Eve, Christmas day and Boxing day for the most part. Then it's the build up to new years eve/day.

You know the song "The 12 Days of Christmas"? In Orthodox areas of Europe and Russia they start on the 25th and celebrate the birth of Christ on the 7th.

Oh. I was taught that the 12 days began with the day of Jesus' birth (Christmas Day) and ended when the Wise Men arrived in Bethlehem. For that reason I've always heard January 6 called "Da de Los Reyes", or "Three Kings' Day."
