I got Robo, Ayla and Magus.... since Magus isn't there so much I had someone pick on Board 8 the main sub till I get him. So I'll be rocking Frog most of the time till I get Magus.

My memory is fuzzy but aren't you forced to use Crono until about the time you get Magus anyway? >_>

Yep, you can't switch Crono out of the party until close to the end of the game.

this challenge would be fun on something like FFX where your party is together almost the entire game though

Not for a long time unless you grind a lot (or you get Kimahri I guess), which would defeat the purpose of the challenge

Or you do the Expert Grid, which would also defeat the purpose

CT just doesn't seem like a very fun challenge game. you don't want to fight those enemies more than once and a lot of the boosts are off of tabs/equipment. I guess it's cool that you can use your tabs on just three guys.
