Puzzles like this are not for the home owner, thus there shouldn't be a weapon in there. These puzzles are for people exploring your house, so you should put another puzzle piece in there for another puzzle around your house.

Then again, it's not like home invasions are at all a common thing here, and the vast majority of them are drug-related. I can leave my doors unlocked if I wanted to (I still don't though.) We also don't semi-regularly have news stories about people shooting their kids sneaking in late at night, and drive-by shootings are something that generally only happens in the shady parts of Toronto or Vancouver, and the vast majority of the guns used in them were illegally smuggled in from the US.
