Hey, been awhile lol
Can someone help me? I am running a 4k Laptop and at home I have a 3440X1440 monitor. The problem I have is some programs will open in a tiny screen and the text is completely unreadable unless I magnify the area or use my phones camera to enlarge the text. I have tried down scaling my 4k to 1080, but that seems to make everything else seem.... weird and off... Is there a fix to this? I will give 9 Cyber High Fives for any and all help. --- ... Turn on windows scaling. That tends to break things, however.
You could also change the icon size with ctrl+mouse wheel. The other option is to set your resolution to 1080p, then run all your games in fullscreen with the resolution set to 4k in the settings. hypnox posted... Look for 1720x720 (720p). That's your resolution cut in half (or a fourth) and should give the best picture. You could go higher as long as you keep the aspect ratio the same. Idk how they screwed it up so badly tbh. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I use the nvidea built in GPU software to play games at a higher rez than my desktop for that exact reason.
I have a 34 inch and when I put it on 3620 x 1572 I can't read shit. ... Copied to Clipboard!
