Yeah, coinbase derailed the awesome rally Ethereum was having. I am still just holding waiting for the Ethereum futures announcement (will probably come next week). Drops like this are common in the crypto world. Considering buying more tbh. Everything is on saleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I bought on the 11th, so I'm still up - but having a really hard time selling

Wait till it drops lower. Just have gdax ticker up in one window and a coinbase transaction window up in the other and buy as soon as you feel it starts to raise again on gdax

Crypto currencies are stupid. Well the idea of 1 or 2 of them around and not being so volatile is a cool idea but Jesus Christ there is more crypto currencies than fiat currencies... and more and more pop up everyday/week. Bitcoin and bitcoin cash? Wtf is that?

Yeah, I sold at a net profit of about 100 so far. It's now trading at 50 below what I had originally bought it for.

Now I just have to create some new alerts for an upswing.

I sold for a net profit of $100. Sucks because I was up $1500 as of this morning. Will be watching prices from here on out. Wouldnt be surprised to see it drop below $600.

This has been me for the last 3 hours. I can only handle the thumbscrews for so long.

The scary thing is that if BTC does in fact implode, a futures announcement may end up being bad for ETH. My bets were all based on the fact that it was smooth sailing for 1 week after the first exchange started offering futures. Once the second exchange started this week, everything went to hell.

Oh boy, we're in a free fall now. This is interdasting.

ETH is under 600 now. BTC is nearing 12k.

You're going about this all wrong, and you should have considered it a long term risky investment to forget about and check in a year or so instead of a short term day trading/money making scheme. It would have saved your sanity from making like 5 posts in a row and freaking out about it

This is a big reason I passed on this crypto fad. That and what if your Harddrive takes a dump or gets stolen or your place has a fire and the drive melts. Plus hacking will only get better at finding your line of code money. Plus 90% or more of the people buying are just trying to make fiat money profit off it.. in the end isn't crypto currencies supposed to be here to end fiat money? Yet people just want to profit off it to make more fiat money.

If anything, you should be praying it gets to sub 400 or lower if you still have money to put into it. Buy it up low and take advantage of the freak out

I did put a little in at 680 last week, but it's all I'm willing to put in, so I'll be holding onto this for a year and not caring at all just to see what happens

I think it's at a point where it's stabilzing. It looks like ETH is just bouncing between 590 and 620 according to the charts I'm watching. Seems like it's stopped with the major fall.

I have fully bought back in, but my position was reduced by .3 ETH due to bad timing. I broke the most basic rule of trading and bought/sold based on emotion. Live and learn. This does only appear to be a temporary flash crash though. Has happened a lot in the world of crypto.

Alright I'm back in the green. Phew. Glad I didn't panic sell yesterday, else I'd have lost several hundred.

Shame I didn't have more to throw in while it was so low.

Yeah, I made the ultimate n00b trading mistake and panic sold and had to buy back in higher. My holding got reduced by 1.15 ETH because of it. Really sucks, but live and learn. I am still ahead overall. Next stop $1000!!!
