Current Events > Came up with some Pokemon for SOS chaining, thought I'd share it here for people

I came up with it in a topic in the USUM boards (got bits of ideas from others, and came up with a lot myself), and I'm really excited and pleased with it, so I thought I'd share.

But it takes 4 different Pokemon, and quite a few turns of set up. Once you DO set it up, it should be totally smooth sailing. Should be great for really long chains.

Trevenant - Harvest w/ Leppa Berry
- Skill Swap
- Bestow/Trick

Stantler - Intimidate
- Skill Swap
- Sand Attack

Smeargle - Doesn't Matter w/ Leppa Berry
- Attack Move
- Entrainment/Worry Seed/Simple Beam
- Recycle (can be swapped out for something else if you don't mind feeding manually)
- Skill Swap/Role Play

A Catcher of your Choice (I believe basic options are Absol, Gallade, Bisharp or Smeargle)
- False Swipe
- Thunder Wave

1. Start with Trevenant, have Trevenant use Skill Swap on Opponent A.
2. Have Trevenant use Bestow/Trick on Opponent A.
3. Switch to the Catcher.
4. Have the Catcher use False Swipe on Opponent A.
5. Use Adrenaline Orb.
6. Switch to Stantler.
7. Wait for Opponent A to successfully summon help.
(Optional). Have Stantler use Sand Attack on Opponent A.
8. Have Stantler use Skill Swap on Opponent B.
9. Switch to Smeargle.
10. Have Smeargle use Skill Swap/Role Play on Opponent B.
11. Have Smeargle use Attack Move on Opponent B.
Setup Complete

Smeargle can then use Attack Move to faint called Pokemon, Entrainment/Worry Seed/Simple Beam to check their abilities, and Recycle to restore its Leppa Berry when there's time and it has used it. Plus, it has Intimidate for a further increased chance of calling for help.

Meanwhile, Opponent A has Harvest as an Ability, and is holding a Leppa Berry. All while at 1 HP. So there's no need to swap it out, it will restore PP as needed and can't struggle itself to death.

Then when you find a Pokemon you want to catch, you can switch in your Catcher.
