yea I think the new director didn't like the helmet and he threw it away cause of that. kinda pisses me off that they let each director just change the story however they want. one of the best things about Kylo Ren was his fetishization of Vader. without that, his conflict of wanting to be evil but not knowing how to, doesn't even make sense.
