Disappointments of Gen 7
- No new Mega evolutions
- SOS battles replaced Horde Battles
- No 3v3
- We got Sun 2 and Moon 2 instead of Eclipse version
- No Ice Type specialist

My highlights would be Incineroar, Primarina, Alolan versions of Kanto Pokmon, the new Z-moves and their trials and Kukui.

I'm ready for the Gen 8 rerelease since we know the 1st version will have as much content as Gen 1

Other highlights:
Z moves
Liquidation
Terrain abilities
Move relearner can teach any move from the pool
Egg hatching at the pelago
IV check is a function on the PC
Nursery instead of daycare
You can send pokemon and eggs to the PC if you have a full party
You can send something from your party to the PC if you catch a new pokemon instead

Other drawbacks:
NO FUCKING NATIONAL DEX
NO FUCKING NATIONAL DEX
NO FUCKING NATIONAL DEX
No remotely decent place to run around hatching eggs
Festival Plaza is garbage
No decent way to get pokemon to level 100
