I've been going to one online message board for the past... 17 years? It started with GameFAQs and then I went to an off-shoot of that for a very long time but the community was so toxic and it was dying so I came back to GameFAQs.

So basically I *need* some sort of message board socialization in my life.

But I feel that it is mostly a waste, just helps kill time at work, but then also it's a distraction from providing quality work that would help me make more money,

I wonder why you find message boards better?

I think for me personally it's the logical structure and variety to it. Twitter is so limiting and anything you want to express gets drowned out by the millions of other things tweeted that second, and Facebook uses really crappy algorithms to recycle content from your friends as you keep scrolling down so you can't even get updates in a chronological order.

The Twitter reason is how I feel about reddit for sure.

Yeah you could say that. It became part of my routine many days. I have certain websites I visit most days each week, and CE happens to be one of them. Sometimes I don't stay long. Sometimes I do. Just depends.

GameFAQs has a very good message board layout, one of the few good ones left around in my opinion. It still, more or less, resembles the olden days of the Internet. The Internet I grew up with.

Not just force of habit, but that is defnitely a part if it. I generally find the night crew a lot better than the daytime posters, and since I'm a nighttime person I do come here a lot when I don't have other things going on irl.

By the time LUE re-opens all the users who know what it was have grown up and won't bother to troll it. Most of us are in our 30's already, married, and have a job that pays more than minimum wage. It would be extremely immature and out of character for any of us to go to LUE and troll when it re-opens. For all the new users it would just be another board. They would see it as a place to discuss Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. LUE is dead and won't be tainted if new users decided to post there. Most of the LUE's veterans have been banned, closed their accounts, or just stopped posting on Gamefaqs. There's only a handful of LUE users who
