I've been called gay insultingly, but I don't think anyone has ever truthfully mistaken me for such. Or, if they have, they haven't made it known to me.

I wasnt very athletic growing up and always seemed to have more friends that were girls as opposed to guys so sure sometimes people would think I was gay, although their line of logic doesnt make a whole lot of sense if you ask me

I don't think so. I think it can be a little awkward. But I think it's probably more common if you're like really close.

Had a really awkward discussion with my mum once. I was going the bathroom and she turns to me an says "If you were gay I would be fine with it you know, you could tell me"

I also used to have gay guys hit on me quite a bit....

Not gay though.

Gay guys have been interested in me multiple times and asked if I was gay (which I am not) and I've had three times more gay guys interested in me than straight women. One of my friends told his dad I was gay as a joke and he believed him.

I don't blame them though, considering I've never dated anyone for very long, and never chase after anyone. Just don't like the thought of competing for a woman's attention. If she wants to get to know me, I'm right here. I'm not going to walk through fire, sorry. 50/50 effort or nothing. Lot of narcissists in this generation. I'm happy being single, and it would take someone really special for me to end up happier with them than I already am. I'm not going to go after anyone who is so big it makes me feel like the woman in the relationship either. (Which wouldn't take much as I'm a scrawny guy.) I know I could get ripped and improve my chances, but I really don't feel the need to get into a relationship anyway. So many pros to being single. And being in a relationship isn't certain happiness, it could be quite the opposite. Anyways got off on a tangent there. Might give someone something to talk about at least.

But I am very much pro LGBT and for men to actually pay attention to their emotional needs so that probably adds to that gay suspicion too.

yes, because despite how obsessed I am with boobs, I respect girls personal space and avoid saying anything sexual because of all these horror stories I hear. In fact its so bad that they need to be really blunt with me if they are trying to get me to react in that way and if they dont, I have actually been asked many times, "Are you gay?"
