Specifically on my Twitter feed.
Mainly news sites or people stating how the bill is a tax cut for the wealthy and businesses and how it's bad. And various conservative leaning people retweeting them saying how the narrative is being purposely bad and it's a tax cut for the majority of Americans and the headlines are fearmongering

While I agree that the headlines are not always good, and there are obvious narratives in place (especially if you focus on the headlines), there obviously will be a tax cut for most people, and some losers, depending on your circumstances. But those retweets are also ignoring that people can have legitimate fears and worries about what the cuts will mean in the future for themselves and certain program.

Which is actually an issue I have with Twitter. People will just retweet the worst of an argument and attempt to strengthen their position based on those bad headlines or arguments.

I need to start following better people

People are dumb in this day and age, it's that simple.

We have a wealth of knowledge at our fingertips and yet only us as a society could manage to absorb that information as wrong as humanly possible, or even worst, choose to voluntarily be stupid to avoid doing any real research to back our claims.

To be fair, people can have reasonable reasons for viewing and agreeing with various parts of the bill differently.

No disputing that, the problem is the folks who think "reasonably" are few and far in-between.

It's a fact that most Americans are getting tax cuts. But it's also a fact that most of the benefits go to the rich, and they're being paid for by deficit spending.
