Im willing to agree that there are male and female brains, and that its certainly possible to have a mixup. Where they lose me is with the mental illness / suicide aspects being a factor nobody wants to seriously address, and the fact that any slight divergence automatically means special! Im my own thing! these days. It makes me question the validity of everybodys claims in the back of my mind because there are frankly a lot of messed up people who just want attention or preferential treatment, and it makes the whole thing murkier and less credible, which is unfortunate for genuine cases. I get that most want to be compassionate and say do what makes you happy, but past a point thats a neglectful attitude when an abnormal amount of people are killing themselves. Theres obviously something going on and praising somebody rather than helping them is the wrong show of love. Transitioning is definitely the answer for some, but I think a lot of lost souls simply think theyre trans when theyre not, and taking steps in that direction only makes them worse, like the incorrect treatment for anything.
