She did not want to go on camera as the off-colour joke inside offended the family and found it to be too saucy and inappropriate She said her and her 2 sons, aged 12 and 15 ASKED for a JOKE to be written in the box when they placed the food order.. She said "My son ordered a pizza online and under the special instructions he requested a joke" One of the workers at the Jefferson Highway location followed through with it but that joke left them in tatters! The mother was extremely upset and posted it on social media. She has since received BULLYING and ANGRY MESSAGES from people over the worker being fired.. One of them said "I hope you see it in that big, black heart of yours to call back and explain that you aren't upset. Days befre Christmas you got someone fired" People said she asked for the joke and got what they ordered but she said "It's an inappropriate joke. There's a time and place for everything. My pizza box is not one of them. It's a lesson learned. I'm a Christian Woman and do not find these kinds of jokes funny" The customer said she hoped the worker wouldn't get fired after the complaint but management axed the driver anyway... Like I said in the other topic about this, if you can't understand why you shouldn't do something like that, you probably shouldn't be working in a customer-facing role in the first place.

Is it inappropriate? Definitely! Should he have known better? Yes he should have and should have kept it appropriate. Should he be fired? I don't know. I've never been anyone's boss so I don't know what the policy is for that.
